One down, seven to go!

I'm too tired to blog, so I'm posting this from my phone.

Awesome, super-emotional start to the season! I've got tons of new theories... could LOST actually be narrowing the plot to a logical conclusion?

By the way, GUTSCH's links to FlyOceanicAir.com and Find815.com were the revelation in tonight's secret commercials during the Eli Stone premiere. Hey, ABC, we had those WEEKS AGO! They are linked on the right nav, over there --->

So what did you guys think?

Another Michael Emerson video interview

As anyone else from the show doing interviews?

Yahoo has another hint-y interview with Michael Emerson.

IGN.com gives the season premier a 9.1 out of 10

Wow, reviews are already rolling in. IGN.com gives "The Beginning of the End" an "outstanding" recommendation saying "it works."

Cool!

Read the review here (kinda spoiler-y)

Interesting e-mail from a blog fan

I received this email today someone who works in a New York publishing house. One of the books in their collection will appear in this season's episode #4, called "Eggtown."

The author of the email, Patrick Hederman, feels that describing the books might be a a little spoiler-y. So with this knowledge, only click the jump at your own risk.

(Personally, I don't think it will ruin your enjoyment of the show, maybe enhance it)

POSSIBLE SPOILERS BELOW!! READ AT YOUR OWN RISK!

Here's the email:

My Fellow Lost Bloggers-- I'm sure with the impending return of our beloved Losties right around the corner, things have been hectic for you this week. Last night I had the feeling of an elementary schooler the night before Christmas. I'm writing you because I work at a a publishing house in NYC called New York Review Books (an imprint of The New York Review of Books magazine). We've recently caught wind from a reliable source that one of the books in our collection, The Invention of Morel by Adolfo Bioy Cesares, will be prominently featured on episode #4 titled Eggtown, being read by either Locke or Sawyer (our source thinks its Locke). The book, inspired by the author's childhood fascination with the movie star Louise Brooks, is set on a mysterious island and tells the story of a bizarre romance filled with suspense and mystery. Many have compared Morel to the works of Philip K. Dick. If you click this link, you'll see that other bloggers are beginning to pick up on this leak. I thought you, too, might have an interest in posting this information--a leak could only help drive traffic to your site (and we've all witnessed the importance of books on the island). Perhaps under the spoiler section would be appropriate. I've included a scan of the book cover below, and our website is www.nybooks.com in case you wanted to check it out. Please feel free to contact me.

All Best Wishes,
Patrick Hederman

Lost Espisode 4.2, Wow!...or Not.

We haven't even seen Episode 4.1 and I'm already talking about Episode 4.2.
My sources are usually correct so it shouldn't suprise you that I've seen the rundown for Episode 4.2. I have mixed feelings about it. It does move the story along, but I'm not as excited as I thought I would be. I'll speak with Doug and Johna today to find out if we should post the new spoiler.

Interview with Michael Emerson: "We're as confused as the viewers"

Doug headline update: I corrected the headline... should have been "confused AS the viewers" not "confused AT the viewers."

Michael Emerson, the evil Ben, was on Good Morning Texas this morning... here's the interview.

Revelations? YES! Michael is just as confused with the plot as we are.

Spoiler Alert. No Lifeguards on Duty. Click at Your Own Risk.

Episode 4.1 "The Beginning of the End" - January 31. It's a spoiler, click at your own risk.

The two hour season premiere picks up where last season ended. The castaways are debating whether or not the arrival of Naomi's people is a good thing. John Locke and Ben Linus are opposed to being rescued and Jack wants to get off the island, and those two will become team leaders as everyone else is forced to choose sides. But this espisode is Hurley centric, you'll see him in flash forwards, read this as he's also one of the characters that makes if off the island.

Spoilers already starting (and Wednesday night)

3 days to go and Henry is already breaking out the spoilers.

I started to read them... then I stopped. I think I ruined the finale for myself last year.

I'm going into Thursday with new eyes.

OH, there is a Season #3 re-run of "Through the Looking Glass" on Wednesday at 8:00PM CST. It's supposed to have a kind of "pop-up" video vibe with facts and extras.

Henry is debating whether to post the link to the Season #4 spoilers. Do you guys want it or not?

One week and counting... Season 4 promo clip

There was a new clip on the ABC promotional site ANET. I saved it and was about to post it, but noticed it was already showing up on YouTube.

It's not the greatest quality. If you want, I will post our better version. But here is one I found already posted:

LOST Be@rbricks!

bearbrick.jpg
One of my other obsessions, besides watching LOST, is collecting things. AND, one of my most unusual collections is a group these little Japanese bear toys called Be@rbricks.

Medicom, the company that makes Be@rbricks, collaborates with all sorts of personalities, companies, film studios, artists, sports figures and musicians to create some super-rare Be@rbrick figures.

Guess what? Coming soon, the LOST Be@rbrick! I was floored when I saw this on the Be@rbrick site (here). If anyone has any info how to buy these, please let me know!

LOST in Cloverfield

cfield2.jpg
I have confirmed this, so this is not a rumor.

At the begging of the new J.J. Abrams produced movie "Cloverfield," just as the color-bars start... in the lower right hand corner of the screen, the Dharma logo pops up for a split second.

I took this image from another LOST message board... I did NOT photograph the movie... but this is accurate.

Cool, huh?

O, are you playing find815.com yet??

Your weekend assignment: let's get caught up.

OK, with just a couple of weeks to go, let's get all caught up with the show.

Last thing we saw was Charlie's death, the weird funeral and the revelation of the shocking flash-forward with Jack and Kate.

Where will season #4 start? In the flash-forward moment or back on the island.

My feeling is that we won't see the flash-forward for a while; but I think it be cool for the show to cut between dual story-lines occurring with the same characters... one in the future and one on the island.

And what's with the weird city reflection below the LOST logo in the teaser spots?

Is anyone watching the mobisodes?
