Here's the thing that doesn't make sense. If the correspondence is coming from Persephone about Mittelwerk, why the Gary Troup message? That would seem to come from Hanso not Persephone. Something doesn't click there.

The OB:EY link also comes up on Joop's Corner page where you try to send Joop a message. after a long time of waiting. I just found it, unlocked it at the subLYMONal site and still get a code of 'heir apparent'.

Also noticed if you wait an extended period of time, Joop who has climbed down the page actually moves a bit and it even seems to shake his head 'no' ever so slightly at you now and then.

Hmmmmmmmmmm... also on Joop's webcam shots- if you let it fully load so you see an image of a man, watch it carefully.

Look for some numbers that show up on the left hand side of the webcam shot near Joop's mouth- I can make out a 612 and maybe a few more. Also, look near the top of Joop's head for some faint cursive writing as if a child just learning to use script is doing the writing. I believe that it references the DeGroots and perhaps gives a password.

In addition, on the image of Joop and to the right side of the camera shots it looks as if there are small mini-movies of a woman with a child that play out.

Wonder what that is from and what it indicates?

On the Hanso site/active projects/worldwide wellness and development/press release in the text hover your cursor over the word miracle, there is a hidden link there. At the moment it doesn't seem to go anywhere but I'm sure it will soon.

Not sure if anybody else has noticed this, but watching episode 3 on Tuesday night I thought of a possible coonnection between the show and the hanso site. The secret location on the map gives the code that translates as "MISSING ORGANS'.....well isn't Locke missing a kidney? Perhaps there may be a link to other characters too....?

the widmore group site is for sure a fan site, but the company is really part of the game. bad twin mentions mittlewerk extensively as hanso's replacement (thus "heir apparent"), and says that hanso wasn't too bad compared to mittlewerk's moral depravity.
also, all executive and CEO photos are stock photos from GettyImages, just do a search for "businessman" and they'll show up. all except for hanso and mittlewerk. these are the only photos that can't be found anywhere else.

to get the "Heir Apparent" code to work you need to do something before that.

First - Go to Newsletter and sign up...follow the steps up to the password part...then type in "breaking strain"

After that is done the hanso page will return to normalcy.

Second-
Go to JOOP'S Corner and send him a message...in the message box type "breaking strain" again...
something will pop up....read it and discover...

Third-
Go to Mittlewerk's bio page and type in "heir apparent" in the box. a new page will pop up and read that...

My thoughts are that it's a reference to a virus, hence the "strain". Not sure about the Breaking part.
